Saddle up – summer bike tours

Now that winter has finally lost it’s grip, it’s time to plan a summer escape!

Join us for Cycling the Erie Canal (July 13-20) and Cycling the Hudson Valley (July 29-August 3). Both events are fully-supported, with baggage transport, sag support, an expert bicycle mechanic, and daily rest stops stocked with fruit, snacks, and refreshments.

Enjoy an 8-day, 400-mile bicycle tour along the legendary Erie Canal. More than three-fourths of the route from Buffalo to Albany is off-road on the traffic-free Erie Canalway Trail. If you can’t join us for the full tour, come along for a weekend. Two-day options are available from Buffalo to Pittsford and Canajoharie to Albany.

Cycling the Hudson Valley
Hudson to New York City
July 29-August 3, 2014

Experience one of America’s most historic river valleys on a 6-day, 200-mile bicycle tour from Hudson to New York City. With a new route for the 10th anniversary, the ride features the City of Kingston’s Stockade District and Historic Huguenot Street in the vibrant village of New Paltz, as well as old favorites such as the Culinary Institute of America, West Point, and the traffic-free Hudson River Trail in New York City.

Here’s what our participants are saying

“The PTNY way is the best – great staff, venues, food, and people.” – Ed Wojtaszek

“There are so many wonderful things about the rides. The organization is superb, the camaraderie among the riders is exceptional, and the route is fascinating!” – Jennifer Boston

There has never been a better time to register. “This is the youngest day of the rest of your life! I joined the ride solo, and made friends of a lifetime on day one.” – Barbara Lampron

What makes your bike tours so special is the people you meet from around the county and across the world. “That’s why I’m coming back for my 13th year!” – Jack van Olden.
