Active Transportation Advocacy Day      February 11

Join New Yorkers for Active Transportation (NY4AT) in Albany to encourage lawmakers to support complete streets, community multi‐use trails, and safer and increased levels of bicycling and walking in New York’s cities, villages, and towns. NY4AT is a coalition of Parks & Trails New York (PTNY), the New York Bicycling Coalition (NYBC), Tri-State Transportation Campaign (TSTC) and other bicycle-pedestrian advocates.

Park Advocacy Day February 26

Join Parks & Trails New York and the Alliance for New York State Parks at our 8th annual Park Advocacy Day on Wednesday, February 26 in Albany and help send a message of support for New York’s 214 state parks and historic sites.

Register today!

Park supporters from throughout the Empire State will meet with state legislators to stress the importance of continued funding for park repairs, improvements, and operations.  Your efforts will have a lasting impact on legislators as they make important decisions about parks. For the last two years, these efforts were critical to ensuring parks received an historic infusion of capital funding. Join us this year to keep the momentum for parks going!

Participating in Park Advocacy Day is meaningful, fun, and most of all, easy! Questions? Contact Jackie Mullen at 518-434-1583 or jmullen@ptny.org.
